It is my wish, that "The Cozy Comforter" somehow brings many happy childhood memories back for you to cherish! Mary and I have put much love and thought into this project, with hope it will touch your heart! We both share a tremendous passion for life! Our intention is to spread joy and love by promoting a positive attitude and lifestyle!
I have been fortunate to have held several job professions in my life, all of which have contributed bringing me to where I am today! During my employment journey, I had the honor of being a fourth grade Writing teacher for several years. This was when I developed a love for both writing and reading seeing the importance of both. My students would look forward to my stories I created to model and encourage proper writing techniques for them to follow. I will never forget the looks on their faces and their pleas to continue as we were inside a story. Words on paper can be magical!! Many of my students went on to be very good writers, passing the North Carolina, Writing test with record high scores!
I am honored, that Mary trusts my passion for writing, enough that she has assigned me as her editor for a story that has taken her a lifetime to develop. Mary is one of my closest friends and I fully believe that our paths crossed in life, so that we can work together developing this book and future publishing's! My hope is that, someday, it will be brought to animation. If this dream comes true, please, promise me that you will read the book first. Allow your imagination to take over as you turn the pages, assigning color to the words! There truly is "no gift in life that compares to pure imagination"! As you read, I hope you connect, love, and perhaps even dislike an occasional character in the book. It will then be, that we did our job, to bring the adventure and daydreams alive!!
